Creating branded stickers for a new business venture
I’m a member of a Pilates association and for insurance purposes I have to give my clients branded leaflets and information from the association. I’d wondered how I could brand them for my own business, but stapling on a business card or writing on them wasn’t satisfactory. Ordering stickers suddenly seemed like a genius way to add my own branding in a really clean, smart way. I absolutely loved designing the stickers – there were so many options – from shape and size, to type of paper (this would be perfect to match the feel of the label to a particular brand) – I loved the Kraft paper option as well as the textured paper finish.
The site has little info buttons, giving more detail to help you decide without having to navigate away from the page. I ended up with the plain paper option – liking its crisp feel and variety of finishes, including matt and gloss.
As I was uploading my own logo, I found the information boxes helpful to make sure I positioned the logo correctly. I’m so tempted to create my own non-logoed stickers too in the future as they look so much fun.
At the end of the process I was given the option to preview and confirm my designs, as well as go back to edit easily. So easy to use, and make amends.
Once I’d placed the order, I only had to wait five days before I received them. I really loved that I could place a small order, and see the finished product before I committed to a larger print run.
I was so excited when the package arrived! I was so impressed that the packaging was eco-friendly and made from recycled card, with minimal waste. Excess packaging really annoys me, so this was a pleasant surprise.
I thought that the products would be good but my expectations were totally exceeded. The cards were good-quality and heavy-weight, with a sharp finish to the printing that really matched my branding.
And finally my stickers. I literally want to stick them everywhere like a sticker-ninja. So much fun, and a great idea for easy personalisation of paperwork and documents.
My first order with Avery was such a great experience, and I loved that I could place a small print run and see the quality and finish before placing a larger order. Next time I’d like to play with the skins – I cannot wait to personalise and brand my MacBook – and more business card pads will definitely make their way into the basket. I’ve just had a quick look and I can simply reorder my previous designs which is fab as I’m often in a rush with little time to spare.
